I'm watching a video about this woman who is a beekeeper, and she started talking about how she loved collecting and observing bugs as a kid and it just hit me that there are people out there who popped out of their mom and they are like "I fucking love bugs". Nothing really prompted this, there might be experiences in life that strengthen heir love of bugs, but she was just created and she was like "oh my god that's a creature" and I think that's interesting.

hahah i feel like that goes with everything that people could be interested in as well, like space, marine life, video games, archaeology, etc. this case is interesting though, bc her interests with bugs actually managed to get past childhood.
as a kid, i used to be obsessed with space and planets and shi, but that interest kinda disappeared over time, and so did a lot of peoples interests when they were children; not the beekeeper lady you mentioned tho!

I used to be so into construction and dinosaurs as a kid. I was constantly disassembling toy cars and even dolls lol, and I really wanted to have a toy belt with tools. Bob the builder did this to me lowkey. But when it comes to dinosaurs idk, big lizards were just insanely cool to me. I was always an artist though, as a kid my mom dedicated an entire wall just for me to draw and paint on. I hope I get back into loving art one day just like I used to though...
