I counted how many drawings I made within the span of the last 4 years (minus some sketches and doodles, I have a separate folder on my pc for these) and I made 61 drawings :D

Pointless fact but idk it's fun to think about. I wonder how much it is compared to other artists.

I might share what I made if the owner of the characters I drew agrees to it!

Anyways that was unreasonably difficult, I randomly started feeling extremely unwell as I was making this gift

I hope I can get back to doing my stuff relatively quickly, and I've been thinking about opening commissions too! (not sure if with this following anyone would want to commission me but it's worth a try, I need the money rn) I had to scrap what I was making personally too during that time because how I felt really affected what I made.

That I looked in the mirror and I looked like this

I was doing really well with motivation and all, I don't think I could release 1 drawing a week since I was a really small kid. And as I was speeding through the gift I was making for someone and the drawing I was finishing I suddenly looked at my drawing and thought "holy shit, this is still so fucking ugly" and I haven't touched anything in a week lol. I also started looking at my art I released here, that I thought was really good and now I feel like I suddenly see every single small flaw again. And even though my ratings are good (which I don't think even should matter to me either really) I still feel like a 4.50 star rating is like I scored 5/10 lol.

I think I might have overdone it with the amount of work I put on myself out of happiness.

ON TOP OF THAT I started watching documentaries on real life accidents, crimes etc and this shit really badly fucks with me.

WHY IS MY BRAIN DOING THIS TO ME

1 I haven't posted art in 2 weeks *fear and despair

2 I find a decent painting in my folders from 2022

3 I post it

4 Social media account saved from fading to obscurity

Oh also I just got a message from newgrounds that my art isn't mediocre, yipee?

Mostly because yeah, I'll be busy for minimum this week. But honestly, I have been working really fast (at least for me), even had strength to start refining this sketch in between making the other drawings I have to finish for someone. It is even possible that I will be able to finish this AND the gift drawings this week, but I don't want to set such drastic goals, it's just something that might happen if my body and mind feel rested enough.

I might once again not draw anything this week, but it's actually for a nice reason! I will be preparing a special Christmas gift for someone.

There's a possibility that if they agree I might share it here too (it's art) but it depends on what the person will want!

Next I'm planing on having a bit of fun with my already existing characters, I wanted to create some illustrations with them (the first one probably will be Valiant).

If you're wondering why I'm sharing these updates at all it's because they help me stay consistent somewhat lmao. But also everything has to be about me and I want everyone to know what I'm doing. Obviously >:3

I wanted to draw some environments but I think I need to work more on the magic system, culture and the structure of the world in general, so I've been trying to make a world map prototype!

I have no idea what I'm doing but it'll maybe work lol, I can always change how the world looks anyways.

But that might mean that the art might be more delayed, I'd draw some characters I already have but I never knew how to do that for it to feel natural ._. (maybe I just need to develop this world and story more, I don't wanna just draw still poses on a white background any more lol (except for maybe character sheets ofc))
